Welcome to the Web site of the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants (CSCPA). The CSCPA is a not-for-profit professional association for certified public accountants. The organization was founded in 1904 and today boasts a membership base of nearly 8,300. Though most of the members are in the State of Colorado, it also has members worldwide.
Members of the association are CPAs in public practice, industry, education, or government, or they may be students enrolled in a qualified accounting program at one of Colorado's
colleges or universities. CPAs in public practice are those you go to for help with your taxes, to conduct audits, to serve as consultants on a variety of business issues, or to assist with personal financial planning. A CPA in industry could be the controller, VP of finance, or CEO, among many other positions, within your company. CPAs also work for local and state government agencies, and are the professors of the accounting programs at colleges and universities across the state.
CPAs must meet strict reporting requirements for two-years periods depending on the status of their certificates. As a number one member service, the CSCPA will offer nearly 300 courses to its members. You can
Search for any of our course from this site.
The CSCPA has several resources available to the public. If you need the service of a CPA, but don’t know where to turn, the CSCPA has a
Referral Service that will help you find a CPA who does work in the specific area you need.
The three on-site classrooms are available for rental by the public. Each sun-filled room can seat up to forty people classroom style, and refreshments can be supplied. So if you need a meeting room, and your office doesn't have the space, contact
April Ayers or call at 303-741-8621 or 1-800-523-9082.
