This presentation will feature an in-depth review of the four key ingredients required to make a successful transition to paperless workflows including:

  • Scanning - what to look for in scanning equipment, image processing software and best practices for implementing your scanning policies and procedures.
  • Document Management System (DMS) - we will review the role and value proposition of a DMS in making the transition to paperless workflows a success. A demonstration of how to effectively deploy a DMS and a review of "must have" features.
  • Client Portal - review of alternative strategies for your portal content. We will present examples of effective client portal solutions and provide a roadmap for how to implement and administer your portal.
  • Workflow Software - this is one of the hidden secrets to a successful paperless office. The workflow software serves as the digital red rope folder as you start to eliminate your paper files. You will learn through examples of how valuable and integral workflow software is to going paperless successfully 

Upon completion of this course you will have a solid foundation of knowledge about what it takes to make a successful transition to paperless workflows. Specifically, you will understand what to look for in scanning, document management, client portal and workflow software solutions.

Cancellation or transfer requests made one business day prior to the program, $50 fee assessed.

Day of program or no notice of cancellation, 100 percent course fee assessed.

If you transfer from an in-class course to a webcast, the above policies apply.

Remember, the COCPA reserves the right to cancel a course seven days prior to the program date. Please keep this cancellation policy in mind when making your travel plans and airline reservations. The COCPA will not be liable for flight cancellation penalties due to our cancellation.
