Student Center
The CSCPA offers a wide variety of activities and events for accounting students and faculty members:
- A CSCPA student membership is available to all accounting students for a $25 annual fee.
- Student members of CSCPA may take advantage of the Annual Student Interview Day in October at which they interview with potential employers. This program brings together CPA firms and businesses that otherwise might not interview on campus with students who might not otherwise meet these recruiters.
- The CSCPA Resume Service is available to all CSCPA student members. This service allows a student to submit a resume to the CSCPA, and it will be distributed to appropriate employers offering job opportunities.
- The Educational Foundation of the CSCPA offers scholarships to high school students who plan to major in accounting at a Colorado school and to upper division and graduate accounting students in Colorado colleges or universities with accredited accounting programs.
- StartHereGoPlaces.com contains a wealth of accounting career information, along with games, prizes, and scholarship information. This Web site, sponsored by the American Institute of CPAs, covers everything from skills you will need to be a CPA to jobs available when you graduate.
- The CSCPA sponsors two faculty conferences each year – one in the summer, and one in the fall. All Colorado college and community college faculty are invited to attend at no cost.
