2018 Leadership Council Meeting

Description

In January, 2001, the COCPA Board of Directors approved the creation of the Leadership Council which discusses national and state initiatives and issues, provides feedback on profession-oriented matters, and assists in determining the future direction for the Colorado Society of CPAs and those it serves.

Learning Objectives

*Identify and clarify your value add in your professional and personal life.

*Review the short-term and long-term economic forecasts – U.S. and global; most important leading economic indicators to watch; economic insights on inflation, interest rates, and taxes; and current events of concern.

*Discuss the tenets of leadership; explore the elements of personal power; understand diversity, inclusivity, equity, equality, and fairness; and learn tools for leading, managing, and navigating successfully in a diversity, equity, and inclusion framework.
