A Special Opportunity to Support Brent’s Place
No child should miss out on Halloween! Kids living at Brent’s Place, a long-term home away from home for children and families battling cancer or other life-threatening illnesses celebrate a bit differently. The COCPA Nonprofit Working Group invites you to join in giving Brent’s Place families a frighteningly fun Halloween through the following options.
1. JOIN US (Register below): October 26, 3:30 – 5 p.m., In Person at the COCPA Office
Help us fill Trick or Treat bags with “spooky” treats and “scary” crafts. We’ll have Witches Brew (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and fried spiders (light appetizers) for you and your colleagues to enjoy while you make the magic happen.
2. PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE (Register below): October 28, 4-5 p.m via Zoom
Remember how fun it was to show off your costume at school? You’ll receive a supply list for creating signs to cheer on the kids via Zoom as they walk the virtual Brent’s Place Costume Runway.
3. MAKE YOUR TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION
Help us raise the $3,000 needed to cover the costs of costumes and gift cards for 50 families. Please click here to donate your tax deductible contribution directly through Brent’s Place. Note “COCPA Halloween” in the “Leave a comment” box.
NOTE: If you volunteer and donate to help underwrite the goodie bag expense, it is not a tax deductible contribution.
4. THE COMBO (Register below)
Participate at the level(s) you choose – volunteer, watch the parade, make a non-tax-deductible donation.
