Sarah began her career as an intern for PWC in Orlando during the great recession. Because of the hiring freeze and layoffs happening during that time, she migrated to Denver and landed with a local public accounting firm specializing in not-for-profits. Here she has risen from staff auditor to director and hasn’t had to work the grueling hours typically seen in public accounting. Working with not-for-profits has provided the opportunity to have partnerships with her clients, breaking the stereotypical negative relationship between a client and their auditor.
