Webinar: Tax Practice Ethics – IRS Regulation Of Tax Practit

Description

Regulation and enforcement action against tax preparers is a hot topic. Beginning in January 2011 all signing and non-signing tax preparers must obtain a PTIN number by passing a Federal tax compliance check, a suitability check and demonstrating competency. This includes most of your firm’s non-CPA staff and senior accountants, seasonal employees, and para-professional employees. This course will examine the stringent new regulations proposed in August governing who may prepare tax returns for clients.
